The step up, when you outgrow off-the-shelf.

When a website isn't enough — the apps, tools and automation shaped around how your business actually works.

05

Custom web apps, portals & internal tools

Real products your customers or team use every day — customer portals, booking and quoting systems, dashboards — plus the internal admin tools that replace the spreadsheet everyone's quietly terrified of breaking.

What's included

  • Customer & client portals
  • Booking, quoting & scheduling flows
  • Dashboards and reporting views
  • Admin panels & approval workflows
  • Auth, roles, permissions & payments

Good fit when

  • An off-the-shelf SaaS almost fits but forces awkward workarounds
  • Customers email or call for something they should self-serve
  • Ops runs on a spreadsheet nobody's allowed to touch

06

Automation & integrations

Connect the tools you already pay for so data moves on its own. Every manual copy-paste between systems is a job a computer should be doing — and an error waiting to happen.

What's included

  • Two-way sync between your existing tools
  • Payment, email & SMS automation
  • CRM and accounting integrations
  • Scheduled jobs and reminders
  • Webhook and API plumbing

Good fit when

  • Someone's job is really moving data between apps
  • Leads or invoices slip through the cracks between systems
  • You've hit the ceiling of what Zapier can reliably do

Discovery & technical advisory

Sometimes you don't need code yet — you need someone senior to figure out what to build. Scoping, architecture, and an honest build-vs-buy call before a dollar goes into development.

What's included

  • Structured discovery of the real problem
  • Scope, architecture & tech recommendations
  • Honest build-vs-buy analysis
  • Fixed-price, fixed-timeline output
  • A clear plan you can act on with anyone

Good fit when

  • You have an idea but not a spec
  • You're about to spend big and want a second opinion
  • You need to de-risk before committing to a build
Clarity on exactly what to build — and what not to.

08

Data & reporting

Turn the numbers you already have into decisions you can act on. Clean pipelines and reporting that answers the questions the business actually asks — not another dashboard nobody opens.

What's included

  • Data cleanup and pipelines
  • Reporting dashboards that get used
  • Metrics tied to real decisions
  • Scheduled reports and exports
  • Single source of truth for the numbers

Good fit when

  • Reporting means someone rebuilding a spreadsheet monthly
  • Different teams quote different numbers
  • You suspect the data has answers you can't reach
Decisions backed by numbers you trust, refreshed automatically.

Every project runs the same way.

Understand the problem, or build the wrong thing well.

01

Understandbefore a line of code

We map how work actually flows and find where the friction and the money leak. The deliverable is clarity.

02

Designscope & shape

The smallest thing that solves the real problem, with an honest agreement on what "done" means.

03

Buildin the open

Shipped in visible increments on standard tools — no black boxes, no surprises.

04

Run & improvelaunch, then look after

We host it, keep it secure and running, and measure, tighten and extend it as you grow.

Straight answers.

How much does it cost?+
Fixed price to build, quoted up front — no open-ended hourly surprises — plus a simple monthly plan to keep it running. Websites start around $3,000; SEO and AI work from a few hundred; a full custom web application is a larger investment. You always know the number before committing.
How long does it take?+
Discovery is usually one to two weeks. From there, a focused first version typically ships in four to eight weeks, in visible increments rather than one big reveal at the end. Larger platforms are broken into stages so you get working software early.
Do I have to manage any of the tech?+
No. We host it, secure it, back it up and handle every update — that's the whole point of the managed model. You get a fixed monthly plan and never touch a server, a domain renewal or a plugin. You focus on the business; we look after the software.
Should I build custom or just use an off-the-shelf tool?+
Often off-the-shelf is the right call, and we'll tell you so. Discovery exists to make an honest build-vs-buy decision. Custom only makes sense where the fit or the friction genuinely justifies it — otherwise you are paying to rebuild something you could rent.
Do you work with businesses outside Sydney?+
Yes. The studio is Sydney-based and works with businesses across Australia. Discovery and delivery run comfortably remotely, with in-person available in Sydney when it helps.

Not sure which of these you need?

Tell us the problem and we'll figure out the shape of the fix together.
